When beginners jump into the world of Internet business opportunities they often feel intrigued to provide little substance and feel that loading pages of a web site with banners will make them money. Banners are the worst way to produce income online and when accompanied by web pages with little or no value no matter how much traffic is generated revenue will be poor. Matter of fact banner ads on a web page are the number one reason for producing poor results from traffic and the worst conversion rates.

Believe it or not studies in online marketing show that the majority of visitors to a site actually look away from banner ads, so the results for Internet business opportunities are actually counter productive. Results also show that using text ads within content increase conversion rates over six times. The reason so many use banner ads are because they are so easy to throw on a page and so many feel if someone wants to buy then they will whether it is a banner or a well designed link within great content.

Banners fail so miserably because people cannot stand to be pitched to, and they also become insulted ...
... by such a poor attempt at leading them to a purchase. The reason links within content work so well if done properly is because they actually appeal to visitors, gain interest and grow credibility. These are all important aspects for getting sales and something banner ads cannot produce.

An Internet business opportunity must take advantage of every tool in order to become successful and banner ads are not a tool to be used. Increasing conversion rates are always important to any online webmaster looking forward to making income online and because banner ads produce the worst possible conversion rates they should be eliminated from any marketing strategy.

The funny thing is that creating links within content is not anymore difficult or time consuming then banner ads and perhaps those who rely on banner ads simply do not understand the difference. Using content as the main draw for visitors to the web site and then using that content as a vehicle to get the visitors excited and wanting to make purchases. By using links within content which visitors are looking for and then using this content as the vehicle to get the visitors to want to make the purchase without using sales pitches are the ultimate way to increase conversion rates for any Internet business opportunities.
