You will be delighted to know that you can avoid hotel's hidden charges. What are those hidden charges, find out the facts and figures before you take up a room in the hotel.

If you need to make use of a bellhop service, remember that you will be charged every time you use them. Try and avoid calling them if you use them remember not to tip them as you will be charged for their services later. You will get to know about their charges on the day of your departure. It is advisable to find out if there are any charges for bellhop, if there is, what is that you are charged? You can use them accordingly.

When you use a towel at the pool, think twice? After finding out about the free hotel services you can make use of it. If not, carry your own towels to the pool. If by mistake you have forgotten to carry one and are already in a pool, use them for a buck or two but don't forget to return it to the attendant after your swim as you are charged for leaving it by the pool side.

Do not get carried away by free breakfast. There may be something hidden in it. Usually hotels have fixed timings for breakfast, which is early in the morning. People who are on a vacation obviously don't have a record of waking up early. They tend to go late for breakfast assuming that it is free. Remember, to find out what are the timings for free break fast. There may be $3-$6 dollars added to your bill on a daily basis for energy surcharge.

If you see a bottle of bisleri water, do not drink it thinking it is free of cost. Some hotels do have $4 to $6 per bottle. You can't avoid all these charges, as you have to use few of the services. But those which you think can be avoided, it is better to avoid them. However, finding out about all these charges before booking a hotel can save you money to a great extent. You can compare the services of one hotel from the other and book for a room which has no such charges.
