Some kids breathe their first breath into this world not in a very healthy state but with some severe or not so serious medical complications. There are also some children who develop signs of medical concern, both physical as well as mental, during their growing years or just a few years after birth. Several physical and mental complications can arise which make them fall under the category of Kids with Special Needs. Such medical complications and severity include speech learning disability, language impairment, emotional complications, multiple disabilities, Hearing impairments, Orthopedic impairments, Other health impairments (limitations in strength, vitality, or alertness, including AD/HD), Visual impairments, Deaf-blindness, Asperser syndrome, Traumatic brain injury etc to some. Others may also be there but basically such medical conditions already mentioned make one kids deserve require special needs.


These special needs are nothing extra but to provide them education in an atmosphere by skilled and friendly teaching staff, which can be compassionate and understanding to their needs and complications. ...
... Help for Children with Special Needs has to be ensured by providing them the mental and emotional support to carry on with their education without feeling uncomfortable, pressurized and bullied. The schools should understand to their needs and unique requirements and if needed, schools designed for such kids should be contacted for accessing education properly. Assessments and legal requirement of such special education providing schools and institutions are made crystal clear to the kids with special needs and their parents. The help providers guide the kids and their families through difficult and dangerous situations and try to slowly but steadily ease out the situation to at least some extent possible. Some students with no so severe medical condition have been able to be placed in general education classrooms like other normal children.


Parents of such kids with special needs sometimes find themselves in a very perplexing and stressful situation, knowing not what to do. Some parents are also there who lose their self control and patience and deal with such children in a manner that compound the situation even more. They do not try to understand the fact that shouting, complaining, cursing one’s luck etc cannot help the situation. They have to accept the facts and start learning how to deal with such difficult situations and make measures to lessen the challenging conditions. Parent Advocacy for Special Education helps understanding them that their kids too has their right to proper education and that they should never entertain ideas of quitting education of their kids. They are also advocated behaving properly, showing affection and importance to them and not just treat them as burdens. Al such measures and carefully steps can ultimately help kids with special needs go ahead with their educative needs and thus to a better and promising future like any other so called normal children. They also make sure such kids get access to and enjoy receiving additional educational resources that they are entitled to. These lead to witness by their parents and them, their academic and personal success.
