Local Company Giving Back During Hard Time

In an ever more difficult economic environment, one Tallahassee company has decided to give back to the community this Holiday season. Tuff Play is a small company with a big heart, located in Tallahassee, FL that builds commercial playgrounds and also installs backyard swing sets and slides for local residents. They have participated in many community playground projects in the N. Florida area and are well known in the community.

Like most businesses, Tuff Play has faced difficult times during this economic downturn. When asked about the state of their business, one Tuff Play representative was quoted "We have done all we can to continue working and building playgrounds in the community, we hope that at least the children of this generation can be immune to this sad economic climate."

To help boost spirits in the area, Tuff Play has decided to donate a swing set and install it free of charge to one needy Tallahassee family this season. They hope in doing so it will generate the notion that although times are hard for many of us, we can still give and be charitable this season. If you live in the Tallahassee area ...

Applicants should send an email less than one thousand words describing the family in need and why they would benefit from the free swing set.

The needy family awarded this charitable gesture will be announced on December 23rd, 2009 via a web cast on the site. It is rare that we find such instances of giving within our communities during recent times; this has inspired me to do more in the community and we hope it has the same affect on you.
