Does Mobile Phone And Mobile Tower Radiation Really Cause Cancer?

With the constant use of mobile phones on a regular basis, people are slowly becoming concerned about mobile phone radiation and mobile tower radiation causing cancer. But is it really true? On a daily basis, you are exposed to different levels of microwave radiation, which, in high and constant levels will cause irreversible effects on the body. But when it comes to mobile phone radiation and the mobile tower radiation, it will not cause cancer.
To understand why and how, you must first know the effects of radiation exposure.
How do the radiation waves work?
The electromagnetic spectrum comprises of two different parts which include ionizing and non – ionizing. While each of these parts have a different frequency, wherein the non – ionizing part has a low frequency and the ionizing part has a high frequency. Mobile phone technology runs on the radio frequency waves, which is also part of this electromagnetic spectrum. However, the radio frequency lies on the non – ionizing part, thereby causing very low radiation exposure.
How can the mobile phone radiation affect you?
If you think ...
... that level of exposure from the mobile phone radiation will affect you, be assured, it doesn’t. You will need large doses of exposure on a constant basis, to really affect you in an irreversible manner, such as cancer. When you use the phone, part of the radiation waves that are emitted by the phone is absorbed by the body. These waves are normally absorbed on the surface of the body by the blood that runs just under the surface of the skin. This radiation level is normally under a certain acceptable limit and will not cause any harm. Even the heat that is normally emitted by this radiation exposure will not cause any long term affect.
What about mobile tower radiation?
Since mobile phones normally connect via radiation waves through a mobile tower, there is bound to be some exposure to the radiation that is emitted by the mobile tower. This is a concern to people, especially to those who reside in close approximation to these mobile towers. However, as a perceived protection, most of these towers are located at a great height, on the building top. Additionally, the material used for the construction of the building normally reduces the level of radiation from passing through them. Therefore, those who reside in the same building as the mobile tower is located need not worry about any mobile tower radiation.
In reality, no one is at a risk of cancer through mobile phone and mobile tower radiation. However you must ensure that you do not overuse your phone as even small levels of radiation exposure over a long duration will cause headaches and blurred vision.
