There had been lot of speculations and scepticism over the existence of Lord. Though many people go in a perfect denial with the presence of the human being, there are many who strive hard to pave the way to the Lord. The Scriptures have significant mentioning of the Hanukkah Jewish holiday that is further believed to be a way to inscribe the name of individuals in the Book of Life. Hanukkah is a Jewish Holiday that is celebrated for eight consecutive days to commemorate the Temple of Jerusalem. During the celebration a menorah of eight branches with one significant branch counting to nine is lighted in every household in honour of the temple. During Hanukkah Jewish holiday Jewish people enjoy special dishes that are specially prepared for the day. Further, they visit synagogue and visit relatives and friends and exchange gifts. It is said that the Lord sits for judgement on this day and benches good deed against the sin. Therefore, people on this day plead for forgiveness to those they wronged.
