When God Speaks-things Happen

A study of what happens when God speaks, and how He can speak through you.
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My Mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." - Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV) The Word that comes from the mouth of God will both accomplish His will and be successful at the purpose in which He intended it. The key point here is the Word must come from "His" mouth. He is the power source that activates the results of the command. Have you ever spoken the Word of God to your situation and nothing happened? We all have at some time or another. Could it be because the Word we spoke came from our mouths and not God's? He must be "in" you in order to speak through you. When you are speaking the Word of God in your situation and nothing is happening, take inventory of your life. Your body is the temple of the Lord. Is it clean enough for Him to dwell in? God will come in and pull you out of sin if you really want Him to, but He will not dwell where sin is present. ... considered sins against God. When we choose to sin, we are rejecting God. We are in effect saying that we don't want Him to move in our lives. If you have sin in your life, confess your sins to God, ask His forgiveness and ask that the precious blood of His Son Jesus cleanse you.
