Good Thoughts Bad Thoughts And How They Affect Your Wellbeing

Your thoughts are incredible things. They can make you feel positive and motivated or they can make you feel depressed and hopeless. You can try it for yourself. Think about something sad, and you'll become sad. Think about something exciting, and how do you feel then? Happy, of course. And YOU are the only person who can control your thoughts, so pick good ones.
And it's not just your current thoughts either. Your sub-conscious thoughts play a big part in your state of mind. Underlying feelings of inadequacy, guilt and unworthiness will reduce your self-confidence and make you feel depressed, whereas sub-conscious thoughts of self-belief and praise will greatly enhance your self-image and levels of satisfaction.
So as well as learning to control your current thoughts, you also need to work on your sub-conscious thoughts, if you are to be truly happy.
Bad thoughts, conscious and un-conscious, that have the largest affect on your wellbeing and state of mind are humiliation, guilt and apathy. Not only do these emotions leave you feeling bad, but they physically drain you as well. So it is vitally important ...
... to:
1. Forgive yourself, by letting go of the past and learning from your humiliation.
2. Let go of your guilt by empowering yourself and gaining back your self-respect. Be determined to be a better person.
3. Become engaged in life and embrace what you have.
And of course, develop positive conscious and unconscious thoughts that energize and empower you such as love, peace, happiness, tolerance and willingness to let the world to be as it is. Become an optimist.
Your thoughts determine whether you're happy or sad, empowered or disempowered, and even whether you're successful or not. If your thoughts are concentrated on what you want in your life, and you maintain that thought with passion, you will eventually act on that thought.
Your mind is yours to control. At any given moment it is you and only you that has the choice about the thoughts in your mind. Even in seemingly disempowering situations, YOU have the ability to choose how you react and how you think. So choose positive and empowering thoughts. Always look for that silver lining.
When you realize that what you think is the source of your emotion and power, then you'll begin to pay more attention to what you're thinking about. So make your thoughts count.
