It doesn't matter if you run a shop, a blog, a forum or a social network, if you want to be successful with your online business you need to be good in Search Engine Optimization. And what is the most important part of Search Engine Optimization? It's Link building. The more links your website has the higher your rankings in the Search Engines will be. With this article I want to explain to you the five best methods for successful Link building.

1. Article Marketing

Article marketing is really one of the best and most effective link building methods. The method is simple: Write articles related to your websites content or product. Then take these articles and submit them to article directories. There are thousands of article directories in the World Wide Web and you will not have problems of finding a directory to list your article. Thread posting: The first method of building links in forums is called thread posting, means: Search for forums related to your content or product and post threads that explain your product and link to it. You have to be careful and don't spam the forums because your posts will then be deleted and you get banned. Only post your threads where appropriate.

Signature posting: The second method is called Signature posting, means: Search for forums in your niche. Sign-up and place one or two links to your website in your signature. Then start posting in the forum to any topics you like. Every post you make will add two backlinks to your website.

3. Blogs

There are three ways to get backlinks from blogs that I want to explain to you here:

1. Paid Blog posting: Search for Blogger from your niche and hire them to write reviews for your website and placing your links igger} from your niche and comment on articles related to your websites content or products. You can place links to your website in the comments text body. (if you post smart comments) or you can place your link in the "your website" field of the comment form. Remember to place a keyword instead of your name in the comment form because what you write in the "Your name" field will become the anchor text of your backlink.

3. Sponsor Blog templates: There are many template designers in the World Wide Web that offer the sponsorship of blog templates. You can buy links in the footer of these templates. The templates are then made free for download on various template websites. When a blogger chooses the template you sponsored for his blog you will receive a backlink from all his pages because your link will be in the footer. This is a very cost effective method of link building; however it takes a little longer than the other link building methods.

4. Web Directories

The first step of your link building campaign should be the submission of your website to as many web directories as possible. Find a provider that offers submission of at least 5000 directories and submit your site to these directories.

5. Text Links

Another great method of getting high PR backlinks fast is buying text links from other websites. You can use marketplaces like text-liink-ads.com to find appropriate websites or just Google and write an email to the website owner of your choice and ask him if he sells text links on his website.
