Do you have one or more children and you are annoyed with their behavioral activities? Always a child needs some extra care and lots of attention. Many of them have lots of nagging habits. These are very irritating the parents many times. There are children who cannot understand properly the words said to them. Evidences are also there for children who cannot remember simple matters spoken to them due to lack of proper concentration. Parents sometimes become helpless and frustrated with these natural yet abnormal behaviors of the kids. With lots of frustration they yell on the children which are dangerous for a kid.


The common behaviors which at times become a matter of irritation are:


Saying ‘No’ to food, sleep or the general daily activities.

Throwing of foods or show tantrums in many situations.

Not understanding the study materials or the words which are being said to them to follow.

Some of their behaviors may be are fearful and simple and small incidents make them frightened.

Many are there who cannot make friends or not interested ...

In simple words it can be said that they are sensitive to small issues are totally reaction less at times when everyone will give some response.


Many children have some disabilities which may be physical or psychological. Autistic children can be treated by experienced specialist physicians. But one thing is very clear that all these children some special care than the normal behaving child. Parents being the best guide and advocate for their children can follow some basic rules. These are:


Don’t scream on them at their extreme uncanny behavior also. Be cool and firmly let them understand about the right and the wrong.

Tell them the proper ways to behave when they are in good mood.

If they got frightened from you, they will bear the feelings in the subconscious mind and cannot open up at later stages also.

Control your anger and frustration although you know that they are not behaving normally. Take a deep breath and for the time being avoid them, moving out from that area.

They may not understand your words properly and what they are being told them to do. You have to act the same task with clear prompts.


In treating children with special needs the first and foremost criteria which must be followed is to keep patience and behave in a cool manner with the children. To control their behavior during their bad mood is not easy and this needs immense forbearance and love for them. The treatment with love and care is the ultimate medicine to bring the children in the normal stage. A doctor alone cannot cure the child; rather the doctor along with the parental advocacy will succeed in this operation of treating the child. Nowadays many organizations are there who shows interest to Help for Children with Special Needs and provides guidance in Parent Advocacy for Special Education.
