Article Marketing Really Can Push Traffic To Your Blog

Article Marketing is a no brainer when you want to get traffic to your website. It really isn't hard to understand why that is. When you are preparing an article for article marketing you are writing in a way that will not only inform readers of your subject matter but you are writing using words that are relevant to the subject matter. Words used in an article that are related to each other are called relevant keywords. (Just a quick note, I've only just discovered that when I type, I spell relevant with an e 'relevent').

Relevant keywords are essential to great articles. Using 4 or 5 keyword combinations in an article will give it a huge advantage when being analyzed to work out where the article will sit in a category.

Lets say I am a blogger (which I am) and I am looking for some content for my blog (again, which I am) - when I go out searching for relevant articles in one of the many article directories; I type in what I'm looking for (just like Google) and the directory will show me what it knows is the most relevant articles based on what you've entered. ... in the body text - there is a much better chance your article will be selected by the blogger.

What's this to do with your traffic? Quite easy - when the article submitter entered the article to the article directory, there was an article submitter or resource box at the bottom. In that box the writer puts in a bio about him or herself and inserts a link back to either their personal blog or if they're writing to give backlinks to a specific part of either their or someone else's blog it will contain a relevant link back or backlink to that website.

Article marketing loves bloggers. Bloggers are great types of people, they totally love excellent copy on their blogs. Most of the time they do write the blog post themselves, but, sometimes they want to fill in between posts they might decide to use articles from an article directory.

Article directories appear to use each others articles - they quite regularly take articles from other directories and join them with their collection. Some article directories even have the articles automatically added to their system with a very simple script. This is a superb result for marketers. Not only do you get a totally free, relevant link back from your original posting, you will also get links back from all the other instances of your article wherever it is.

This is good. Regular subscribers of a blog, especially if they like the article, will naturally go go search for other things the writer has written. That will bring you traffic. Another way you'll get traffic is by ranking better for a particular keyword phrase or relevant keyword in search engines such as Google etc. This will certainly make your blog more relevant to searches targeting that relevant keyword or keyword phrase.

Put in a nutshell - Let us imagine you have 5 relevant articles out in the article directories using the relevant keyword related to your page (remember that an article or any article pointing to your site is only of value to the page it is pointing to. The total number of pages indexed for that relevant keyword throughout your site - it isn't totaled up and analyzed to give an pointer as to what your total site is about. You've got to use in-site linking to drive all the link power to where you want the link juice to go). Remember, the majority of those links throughout the web are now linking to your site page on that relevant keyword or keyword phrase. Add them all up, these will be backlinks, relevant backlinks to give Google and the other search engines something to score your page against.
