It is said that a child is gifted by god. Thus every child is special and different. Special needs children are those who depend more on other for his day to day work. There are several families having special needs children. They may have various disabilities like learning disability, behavioral disabilities, understanding disabilities. An autistic child cannot understand a simple thing fast. He or she cannot express his or her proper feelings, emotion, needs. Even it is very tough to communicate with others for autistic children. They are not expressive by words, body language or other gesture. So special needs children need more special care.


Sensibility is another character of an autistic child. they are disturbed by a normal sound, smell or light. What is very acceptable to a normal child, an autistic child can react for the same. For their learning and understanding disabilities it becomes very tough to manage or tackle them properly. It will take more time to grab a simple subject for an autistic child. They should be treated by lots of patience, kindles and love of family and teachers. But few are very intelligent and skillful to paint, draw or to create music. They are needed more care to improve themselves.


There are so many schools and care unit for special needs children. Children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, neurological disorder are treated here with lots of caring and love. Different modern and advanced methods are used to teach them. Understanding the behavior of every child they use different modern method to make the children normal in their behavior. They follow some steps:


Behavioral analysis: In this method teachers observe every child with very care and efficiency to understand their behavior. Then they take step to develop the missing skill. Also children are rewarded by the teachers for rectification of every wrong thing.

Sensation therapy: In this process teachers try to develop the sensitive matter like language skill, communicative skill and other. Child who has speech problem, are treated by vocal exercise. After lots of practice children improve their language skill and others.

Developmental process: By this process special needs children can develop themselves socially. Teachers arrange a sitting accommodation on floor and it is compulsory to every child to seat together and do their work jointly. They share their things, their food. By this method children are encouraged to connect people socially. They can focus or concentrate on their work.


It is not a frustrated issue to have special needs children now. They can also come to the flow of normal life. Lots of caring, love, and affection can give them a normal life. There are so many Schools for Children with Special Needs. Guiding the children as well as family they help to make every child successful in life.
