My Chemical Romance is an alternative rock band from New Jersey (USA). It was only a modest commercial success but it earned the group a lot of underground followers. The breakthrough came with the second album "Three cheers for Sweet Revenge". It was released on June 8th 2004 through Reprise Records. Four successful singles were release from this album: "Thank you for the Venom", "I'm not okay", "Helena" and "The ghost of you". This was the first My Chemical Romance album that received a very positive mainstream response and that was in heavy rotation on MTV. But there wasn't only positive feedback, ...
... a large part of the bands underground fan-base said the band had abandoned their stylistic roots. However, the record sold more than 1 million copies to date.

The album was very successful and earned multiple platinum certifications. Four singles were released from this album, namely: "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I don't Love You" and "Teenagers". The limited edition box-set of that album earned My Chemical Romance a Grammy nomination.
The first Live album of the band was called "Life on the Murder Scene" and it was release on March 21, 2006. The album includes 3 discs, two DVDs and one cd. The album features band documentary from the start till present.
The second Live album is called "The Black Parade is back". It was released on June 30, 2008. The album features the bands final performance as "The Black Parade" from the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The album debuted on #22 Billboard charts and soon received gold certification by the RIAA.
