Japan is a wonderful country especially when it comes to its unique culture and civilization. Several visitors from around the world travel here to experience several attractions and experience the cultural heritage here. Even if the journey is a short duration, there are several attractions that can be experienced here, especially when traveling with a transit visa to Japan. In this article, we give you the attractions that are a must-see, when traveling here on a short stay.

1. Mount Fuji
This iconic mountain is one of the several cultural identities of the country. Located on the Honshu Island, it is populated by regular sightseers, climbers, artists and poets who climb the sides of these mountains, to seek inspiration and experience its snow-capped peak, covered over for several months in a year. With a transit visa to Japan, you can easily visit this mountain, or view it from the city nearby if the weather permits it.

There are several themed areas in the park, some which include the Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. 3. Hiroshima peace Memorial
This iconic and UNESCO world heritage site stands as a symbolic representation of the historic atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Built in the year 1915, this attraction known as the Genbaku Dome was the only structure standing after the catastrophic atomic bombing in 1945 while rest of the architectural structures around it were destroyed. Today it stands and is preserved as a symbol of peace.

4. Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
This iconic aquarium is located in the Minato ward of Osaka and is one of the largest public aquariums in the world. It is one of the best places to visit with a transit visa to Japan, especially when traveling with family. This walk through aquarium displays abundant marine life in different habitats that comprise of over 27 tanks, in 16 main exhibits. The Pacific Ocean tank is the largest tank in this aquarium and is home to marine fishes like the Whale Shark and the Manta Ray apart from other different fishes.

5. Tokyo Tower
This iconic structure is communications and observation structure in the district of Minato. Inspired by the lattice like design of the Eiffel tower, the only difference between these two structures is the bright orange color on the Tokyo structure. There are two observation decks, one located at 150 meters and the other at 250 meters where visitors can view the city horizon. Below this structure lies, FootTown, a four-story building that houses several museums, restaurants and shops.
