The 2009 Venza is Toyotas new player in the crossover competition that drives like a luxury car. The Venza is designed for comfort and ease of driving. Toyota did a great job in providing us with a crossover that is stylish, sporty, gentle on the wallet at the fuel pump, backed up by Toyota's reputation of reliability, and affordability

The interior features a cabin with a high-mounted shifter located next to the climate controls providing more space between the seats where a large bin covered by cup holders and a smaller bin designed for iPods and other small devices, can be found and put to good use. A high-mounted LCD screen shows trip computer and climate control information along with the
optional back-up camera display. The JBL six speaker stereo system was included with our test vehicle, and hats off go to Toyota for including it with this model. The seats were also very comfortable with heated seats in the front cabin and can be adjusted in height to accommodate tall or short drivers with the touch of a button. Another feature for driver comfort is the telescopic steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror ...
... and exterior heated mirrors.

Unlike other crossovers the Toyota Venza's exterior is sleek and sporty, our model came equipped with semi-polished 20 inch wheels, fog lamps, HID headlamps, and factory tinted glass. A very cool feature on this crossover was the convenience of a spacious hatch opening with the touch of a button on the key ring. Overall the Venza has a look that is sporty and elegant at the same time.

The 2009 Toyota Venza is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and there are two engine options: a new 2.7-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6. Ours was the V6 2WD which cranks out 268 horsepower, driving the Venza's front wheels through a smooth six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. The electronic power steering on the Venza was great for taking corners and we were pleased with the acceleration and brake system as well. The Venza's fuel economy was impressive with EPA estimates of 19 mpg city/26, the Venza is more fuel-efficient than many V6-powered family sedans, and it doesn't even drink premium gasoline.

The Venza does not disappoint. Smart key was one of my favorite features, plus it has a sleek design with a good performance. It has a very roomy interior and convenient rear seats that folds down at the touch of a lever for plenty of cargo space. With all the bells and whistles, Nav, Blue tooth, JBL stereo, the Venza is the best choice for those consumers looking for high performance and quality without paying too much for it.
