Building And Construction Industry Businesses – Add Taxable Payments Annual Report (tpar) As Part Of
If your business is in the building and construction industry, it’s time to get ready for your TPAR reporting to the ATO.
For many of you in this industry, you probably do not have the software to create your reports and lodge them. At GovReports, we have the solution for you.
GovReports is a cloud-based lodgment portal and we are a leader in the XBRL and SBR program.
GovReports innovative system makes whole-of-government reporting more transparent, accountable and, more importantly, saves you time and money. Using your AUSkey, business can access and input their data anywhere and anytime. Lodgments can be viewed in real time, and users can receive instant responses from the ATO, ASIC and OSRs.
GovReports multi-platform portal integrates with major accounting, payroll and CRM software for easy upload or import of data, and automatically pre-fills reporting forms directly from relevant Government department with online access.
GovReports Taxable Payments Annual Report allows your business to use your system’s generated spreadsheets to be uploaded. GovReports accept CSV files, which is available ...
... on our website under FAQ.
If your business uses software and it generates TPAR backup files, we accept them also. The ATO portal will only accept certain file format.
As many of you know, TPAR is due on 21 July 2014.
Your business needs to report the contractor’s ABN, name and address, the total amount paid for the year and the total GST included in that amount. This information will generally be contained in the invoices you receive from your contractors.
Now is the time to make sure your business is ready to prepare and lodge the annual report on time.
If you filled out a paper report last year, you can make this process quicker and easier by lodging online with GovReports this year.
The information reported about payments made to contractors is matched against other information held by the ATO to detect contractors who have not lodged tax returns or included all their income in returns that have been lodged.
GovReports in ICB Conference:
At an industry conference last year Select Bookkeeping Director, Nola Aves discovered a cloud lodgment solution that has since saved her tremendous amounts of time, improved her client communications and increased her productivity.
Shortly after watching a presentation about GovReports at the Insitute of Certified Bookkeepers' 2012 Conference, Nola began using GovReports to lodge her client's BASs, Payment Summaries and Tax File Number Declaration forms.
GovReports is the cloud based client management and lodgment portal, designed for AUSkey holders including accountants and bookkeepers to manage and submit statutory reports to the ATO, OSRs and ASIC from a single website. In addition to Business Activity Statement, PAYG Annual Summary and Tax File Number Declaration Forms, GovReportsincludes tax return forms for all entities.
Nola was initially interested in using GovReports because it appeared easier to use than the ATO's portal.
"With different clients using Reckon, MYOB and Xero, being able to upload files in the one spot was attractive," commented Nola.
Not requiring any training, Nola found the transition from using the ATO portal to using GovReports very easy and straightforward.
"I do still use the ATO portal to add clients, but mostly I do everything through GovReports," added Nola.
"It's really simple to use."
"GovReports has a spot to select which software you are using and it fills in the relevant form straightaway."
