Tenant also has certain responsibilities towards a rental property as he is using the property of the landlord. He is obliged to keep the building and its vicinity in good shape. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, difficulty and hassle between the landlord and the tenant it is necessary to have good communication especially in cases when the payment may be postponed or delayed.
A tenant will also be protected by a landlord's building insurance if there is a mishap and the building or the roof collapses causing injury to the tenant. He has all the right to claim for compensation and will be covered his medical expenses and any temporary accommodation too.
