Throughout decades the four cities that have been capitals of Morocco have been called imperial cities. With a strong history and plenty of monuments, each of them has its own and different nature. These cities are: Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakech.Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat: Pick-up from Casablanca Airport. Visit to the Hassan II mosque. Departure to Rabat. Visit to Rabat city and its monuments: Oudaias Castle, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower..Day 2: Rabat - Meknés - Fez: Departure to Meknes. We will go around the Mamora forest. Arrival to Meknes, city which achieved its greatest splendour thanks to Mulay Ismail Sultan. At 27Km from Meknes, we will find the ruins of the Roman city, Volubilis. You will also visit the Saint City, Moulay Idriss. Departure to Fez.Day 3: Fez / Fez: Day dedicated to discover the intellectual city of the reign. Many monuments can be visited: Medersas (Koranic Schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Then, we will go to Ksar de Touroug, surrounded by spectacular oases. After that, we will go through Tinejdad before reaching Tinerhir. After lunch, we will go to Todra Gorge . Through the beautiful Boulmane Dades valley, we will reach Kelaa Me Gouna-Rose Valley, which achieves its greatest splendour in May. Arrival to Ouarzazate. Possibility to visit the Taourirt Kasbah.Day 6: Ouarzazate - Marrakech: We will go to Marrakech through Tiz-in-Tichka (2,260m-altitute), known as "the neck of pasture". The slope is made through a specially winding road which offers an incredible view, full of colours over the Haouz level. Arrival to Marrakech.Day 7: Marrakech - Marrakech: This city gives Morocco its name. It is extended majestically above the Atlas Mountains and their snow-capped peaks during a part of the year. Its destiny is linked up with the different dynasties succession and its tradition of political, economic and cultural metropolis that has always dominated the Maghreb history. Marrakech is also a show city, where you can find 24-hour party as in the famous square Jamaa el Fna. Since several decades ago, this square constitutes the most incredible popular theatre: Snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune-teller, actors and so on. In Marrakech there are plenty of places that could be visited, for example, Medersa Ben Yussef, the Menara, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Agdal Garden, Saadianos' graves and Badi and Bahia Palaces.Day 8: End of itinerary: Departure from Marrakech.For more information visit excursion-morocco-tours.com/
