A women’s neck is the best place to find several precious jewels apart from the heart of the earth which is found by mining. The jewels are not solely used for the purpose of decorating but there are many other uses too. We can also find them useful in many commercial high end tools and can be made a part of today’s technology. There are many valuable materials on this earth like Ruby, Sapphire, Ceramic and optical glass. All these materials are used in the manufacture of balls and half balls. The balls that are made of sapphire are termed as sapphire balls. These are manufactured with the utmost care and attention. A small manufacturing defect can make them useless and so they are manufactured with great care using the most efficient technologies. They are used as connectors that prevent the losses of transmission between two optical fibers that are coupled. By this the long distance transmission of data through optical fibers are made much efficient and reliable.

Some other important things that are made of sapphire are the Windows, jewels, tubes, nozzles and rods. As they are made of sapphire, they are termed as Sapphire Windows, Sapphire jewels, Sapphire Tubes, Sapphire Nozzles and Sapphire Rods respectively. The sapphire windows are used when we require the properties like high transmission bandwidth, chemical inertness, temperature resistance, high technical strength, wear resistance etc. Scratch free windows of ultra-low thickness can also be manufactured with sapphire windows.
