Some of the most romantic weekend getaways are located in the most densely populated destinations in America. The following are some to think about.

Take Manhattan. You can spend a lovely weekend in New York town and sleep either at the Marriott Hotelon Broadway, for example, which is right close to the Theatre Area ; or you can book a weekend at the Plaza Hotel adjacent to Central Park. With great weather throughout the year ( hot, but always dry ), you can wile away the morning at the hotel pool and experience the evening attending a fantastic performance or visit lady luck at the casino.

Lake Placid. Far away from the exasperating crowd, you will find peace and love at the Mirror Lake hotel. With gorgeous mountain and lake views, fireplace, and huge tubs, you will find the accommodations more than acceptable. In fact, they are ideal for a romantic holiday.

Among the many actvities you might like to do is to take a walk to the near by town of Lake Placid, only two miles away.
