When you start your Internet business online you need information and there are plenty of guides to help you get started. But where do you you turn when you run into a problem you can't answer or want more information that just isn't available on the Internet? Internet marketing forums is where I turn to for great sources of information.

But which forums are worth it? Many times you get access to a forum when you buy a product online but these forums are only available to those that purchase the program. These Internet marketing forums are also geared to what ever the product was teaching, not your entire marketing campaign.

So what are the things to look for to ensure you are going to get the information and support from the Internet marketing forums you join? I have made up a list of the three things I look for in my Internet marketing forums and let me tell you, I'm will to pay for a good forum if it is worth it.

1. Look for an active forum. I'm not talking about a few posts day. I'm talking about 10 or 20+ posts a day. Activity is very important in a forum. It tells you that you aren't one of only 5 ...
... guys posting. Internet marketing forums should be filled with people to supplement your knowledge.

2. Success posts should be it's own topic. Internet marketing forums that have a large number of success posts is going to have to create its own heading for such a topic. This means that there is enough success talk that you can read how people are achieving their success and share in their enthusiasm. You also have a place to post your success for recognition and know these people are successful and not just stuck like you.

3. Separate topics areas for both PPC and Article marketing. Although both can be used to be successful, Internet marketing forums should keep them separate and keep all posts relating to one or the other in the correct place. The forums should also have separate topic areas for the tools they offer and any specific piece of software that is recommended. Cluttering up a general topic area only makes it harder to find the right information.
