The all-new 2015 Hyundai Genesis has been voted the Top Family Choice for 2014 by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA) during association’s second annual signature event dubbed ‘The Family Choice Challenge’. Genesis chalked up the most points to beat the competition at the event held at the beautiful Lake Lanier Island Resort in Georgia. Motor analysts believe that the sedan’s ‘accessible luxury’ tag will continue to make the car wither strong competition from the same segment market. The car is available in a range of colors including; Caspian Black, Ibiza Blue, Pamplona Red and Parisian Gray. The available interior color trims available include; Beige leather, Ivory premium leather and Black leather.

The car has given families who are looking to have a luxury car option to their collection, a compelling reason to do so. The competing vehicles in this sedan category include; Cadillac ATS, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe and Lexus IS.

Mike O’Brien the Vice president of GAAMA agrees that the honor bestowed upon the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is testament that the all new Genesis has all it takes to become successful in a competitive market. The vehicle is fashioned with a number of safe, innovative and up-to-date driving assist features coupled by an interior volume and market segment value advantage. The fitting rear-drive ultra-rigid platform utilizes a high density steel that can handle 40% stiffer bending rigidity and 16% stiffer torsional rigidity much better than the outgoing Genesis. The feature provides compelling safety and driving dynamics designed to offer a non-compromising driving experience befitting the whole family.

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis also features a suite of advanced assistance features that include; Lane Change Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, in addition to Blind Spot-Detection. The two engine specifications for the 3.8 L base engine size are: V6-Cylinder with a horsepower of 311hp at 6000 rotations per minute and the Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) type, with 24 valves and a torque measuring 293lb-ft. at 5000 rotations per minute. The 5.0L engine specification comes in two trims based on a standard DOHC 32-Valve V8 with CVVT. Some of the most prominent comfort features in this vehicle include: trunk light, leather steering wheel, leather trim on shift knob and simulated wood trim on doors, in addition to an interior air-filtration mechanism.

The all-new 2015 Hyundai Genesis comes with two major warranties; the limited fully transferable new vehicle 5-years or 60,000 miles warranty and the powertrain 10-years or 100,000 mile limited warranty. There is also a complementary Roadside Assistance guarantee that lasts five years. Vehicle owners with Hyundai Blue Link Assurance connected care can take advantage of the Blue Link telematics system with care service and proactive safety that lasts 1-year from enrolment.
