Pune is not just the cultural capital of Maharashtra; it’s much more.
My close friend has just come from Pune after a week-long stay there. And going by the enthusiasm with which he talked about the city, its roads, its colleges and schools, and its food, I can tell you with 100 per cent surety that Pune is a city that you should visit at least once in your lifetime.

Just like Goa, Pune is not much like other Indian cities. The roads are wider, and there are plenty of beautiful gardens, wherein you can sit in the evenings while enjoying a view of the city and its large scale establishments.

When it comes to food, Pune has a lot on plate. Whether you prefer Indian, or Japanese, or Italian, or Continental, Pune’s hotels and restaurants offer it all. However, in the opinion of my friend, you should check out the local delicacies first. Vada-paav is something that you must try out.
