Microsoft, like any of the technological innovation companies, is trying to look for the next best thing to release into the market. Something that is unique; something that has never been exposed to the public yet.

Their prediction suggests that the next big device that will be a huge hit with the consumers is a tablet looking device that functions like a laptop. Of course, this may already have been answered by the tablets in today’s market, but, Microsoft is looking to release a tablet that actually is a laptop, and also vice versa.

They tried a couple of times in the past, and each one failed in some aspects of its functionality. However, Microsoft is set and is confident that the release of the Surface Pro 3 will make all that possible.

The Surface Pro 3 may boast a touch screen digitizer which is capable of showing an image display of very fine pixels. In fact, reviews stated that you might still have to stick your nose on the screen so that you can see the tiniest of pixels, and that might not even ensure its visibility.

That part of the argument is not anymore the fault of the digitizer or any other technological components within the device, but, it is the fault of the glass screen itself.

Another addition to the Surface Pro 3 is the change of its stylus pen, which naturally forced Microsoft to change the touch screen digitizer that they have been using for a very long time. Yes, you may have trade-offs, but most experts are finding the new pen, and sacrificing the pressure levels is nothing to be worried about.

According to experts, the screen provides lesser drags that the pen feels like it was being scratched through a paper. The smoothness of each stroke and its built makes it similar, or at least, to a regular pen. Its not only the tip, but also, the entire construction of the device, making it easier to hold on to the device whenever you are using the pen.

In addition, the Surface Pro 3 is not only limited to being a laptop. It still can act as a tablet if ever you need the portability or if you ever find yourself in need of a device that you can carry at the palm of your hand. This was also possible with the previous installment. However, it was still too thick to carry around. With the change to N-Trig’s touch screen digitizer, it has allowed the device to become thinner and less bulky, making it easier to hold when you are on the go.

Microsoft looked to remedy all the problems that they encountered in the past two devices that they released. With the addition of N-Trig’s digitizer, the comeback of the keyboard, and the way that it can be angled, Microsoft may be on their way to replacing actual laptops.
