All-new 2015 Gmc Canyon Looks To Shake Up The Mid-size Market

Detroit’s GMC has revealed the 2015 GMC Canyon truck that raises the bar for mid-size trucks because of its horsepower, refinement and quietness. Without the size of a full-size pickup truck, the 2015 Canyon is expected to deliver all leading signature enhancements. The all new efficiently sized truck will be of interest to customers who are interested in the cargo-hauling and trailing resourcefulness. The all-new 2015 GMC Canyon will have the segments best payload of at 1,450 pounds. With two engine options the truck has an estimated horsepower of 193 from a standard 2.5 L and an estimated 302 horsepower from a 3.6 L and a maximum trailering rating of at least 6,700 pounds, this truck will look to redefine the mid-size truck segment.

The six-speed automatic is the primary transmission. The safety features include six air bags, trailer sway control, hill start assist, and hill decent control. GM expects the 2015 GMC Canyon to be segment-leading in fuel efficiency, horsepower and payload.
