Chronic fatigue Syndrome or CFS is an illness that seems to affect many people's ability to live a normal, healthy, happy life because of the extreme fatigue and exhaustion that is associated with this disease. CFS comes with several life debilitating symptoms of which fatigue is the number one complaint. This illness does not just affect one part of the body, but in many cases, it affects many areas. CFS can even cause a person to lose the ability to take care of them because their body is so weak and tired that makes it harder to get out of bed to get food or water, take a shower or bath, use the bathroom, or simply drive around to run errands.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is known to have been caused due to an individual's faulty or affected immune system that might be a result of many causes such as nervous systems inflammation, old age, mental breakdown due to excess stress, prolonged illness from a severe disease, environment or even as simple as due to bacterial or viral infection although these are not completely confirmed. The patient tends to feel severe fatigue whatever be the cause. This results in further infection ...
... of the already infected parts and more if not treated on time.

One of the dreaded facts about this disease is that there is no enduring cure. But, to a large extent, treatments would lessen the feeling of tiredness along with providing relief from all the other symptoms and the patient would be able to continue with the ordinary daily tasks. However, no long term treatment has yet been discovered yet as a complete cure for this dreadful disease that saps one of strength, leaving the sufferer as weak as a new born baby.

Temporary painkillers, anti-anxiety drugs or anti-depressants can help cure joint, muscle pains, fever, depression, and anxiety and so on but only for certain period of time. Even to a certain extent, the bacterial and viral infections prowling the body can be healed. As Chronic Fatigue Syndrome generally results in a poor immune system they can help the body fights the infection. However, taking in a lot of medication can give rise to further complications that might not be exactly related to the disease.

There are basically a lot of self care remedies for treating chronic fatigue syndrome. One good example is to rest and manage your stress levels. This may seem impossible to do in the busy lives we live in today's society but you have to try and find a way for you to rest your body in order to keep it energized and prevent feeling extremely exhausted physically and mentally.

You can be sure that you will be able to effectively treat chronic fatigue syndrome and also prevent depression as you remember these tips.
