Honda Hr-v Joining Honda Lineup
The Honda HR-V is the latest addition to the Honda lineup. This vehicle is considered a crossover SUV, even though it only features two doors and a hatchback. The SUV is designed to provide the height and safety of an SUV while still providing the performance and handling of a sedan. This makes it an extremely desirable vehicle. While the 2015 Honda HR-V has not come out with all of its features yet, there is a good amount of the specs that is known to the public. So, for anyone who is considering going out to purchase a brand new crossover SUV, the Honda HR-V might just be the answer, so it is best to wait until the vehicle hits the market.
The Honda HR-V comes with a front wheel drivetrain and it is expected to have a 1.5L, 4 cylinder engine, offering 117 horsepower and 106 pound feet of torque. The current MPG is not yet known, so detailing the fuel economy is not possible until the Honda HR-V announces it and independent firms are able to test this. With the smaller engine though, it is most likely going to have a rather desirable rating though, and with the overall size and weight of the vehicle.
The Honda ...
... HR-V has seating for five with collapsible rear seating. The rear seats are not removable, but the seats fold in on themselves and down into the flooring, so individuals who want additional room for transporting equipment can receive it this way. The Honda HR-V also comes with a remote keyless power door locks and power mirrors.
In terms of convenience, the Honda HR-V comes standard with cruise control, front console storage, electric steering with cruise control buttons built directly into the steering wheel. All of these features, including the comfort and tech features are all standards on the different trim models of the Honda HR-V. The upgrades and additional equipment is yet to be released, but this is the base model, so the other trim specs are just going to improve upon what the Honda HR-V is already able to offer.
Safety is very important in the Honda HR-V, and Honda has long pushed to be one of the top auto dealers in the world when it comes to safety. This has not changed with this crossover vehicle and all of these safety features come standard. This includes front and rear head and dual front side-mounted airbags. This way, in the event of an accident, all of the glass is shielded off by airbags, protecting the driver and passenger from glass and other debris that might spray into the cabin. The vehicle also comes with child seat anchors and rear door safety locks, in order to keep children as safe as possible while on the road. Traction control, emergency brake assist, stability control and electronic brake force distribution are all standard on the vehicle as well. There is a passenger airbag sensing deactivation feature. This way, should the vehicle come in contact with another object on the passenger side, the passenger air bag does not fire off. This is important because once an airbag is deployed, it is no longer usable and needs replacing. This helps save money on repairs, should an accident occur.
When it comes to a small yet sporty crossover SUV, the Honda HR-V is one of the very best out there. The most recent release aims to join the Honda lineup in the coming months, and in the next few weeks more information should come out detailing the vehicle and what all it is able to offer the public. Some of the upcoming information to keep an eye out for includes the fuel economy of the Honda HR-V and what sort of entertainment features the vehicle is going to feature in the different trim models.
