Car troubles can happen to you when you least expect it. That is why a lot of mechanics and car experts always remind motorists to have their vehicles checked regularly so that there is a small chance you would encounter car trouble while on the road. Having your car undergo regular maintenance checkups at every milestone of your car ensures that your car is kept at its optimum condition as you get an assurance that your car is road worthy.

You do not want to encounter car troubles especially when you are using your vehicle for an extended period of time. Car troubles are a bummer when you are out on a long, cross-country drive. It is quite a hassle if your car suddenly jerks and you are forced to pull over to check out what happened.

You can consider yourself lucky if you encounter a car trouble and there is a gasoline station nearby. You can have someone help you push your car to the gasoline station where a mechanic may be on standby to assist people who are encountering car troubles. During vacation season, a lot of mechanics hang out on gasoline stations across the country anticipating the number of ...
... vehicles that might encounter troubles while on the road.

For starters, experts made a simple catchphrase for drivers to remember before hitting the road. Before riding the car, drivers are encouraged to do a simple checkup on their car to assess its road worthiness. Drivers are reminded to check the car’s BLOWBAG before leaving your garage. Here are the parts of the car that need to be checked using the acronym BLOWBAG:

B for Brakes. Pop the hood and check the level of your brake fluid, ensuring that it is within the line. That way, you can be sure that your brakes are working well. Check your brake pads as well.

L for Lights. Switch on your headlights, park lights, brake lights, and signal lights. One busted bulb can get you a ticket, which can be a downer when you are on a road trip.

O for Oil. After starting your engine, warm it enough before pulling out the dipstick. The oil should reach the full tab to be considered as having sufficient engine oil. Likewise, check beneath the car for oil leaks.

W for Water. Your radiator must be full of water so that your engine won’t overheat. Bring an extra container of water to use for refill just to be on the safe side.

B for Battery. Look at the battery terminals and inspect whether these are dirty. Dirt prevents the electricity from the battery from running to the starter.

A for Air. Check your tires and make sure you reserve is ready to be popped in.

G for Gasoline. Never leave a place when your gauge is low because you’ll never know when you are going to make it to a nearest gasoline station along the freeway.

But if you still encounter a car problem on your way to California, do not fret because there is a mobile mechanic in San Diego who can provide immediate assistance when it comes to auto filter service, auto bearing service, and auto motor service, among other services.
