The Secret Of Holidaying In India

India is a mix bag of a number of travel experiences. Very few countries can brag about offering such diversity and an enriching charm. The soulful beauty of this country is evident in every nook and corner of society. You cannot see it all. You can’t experience it all. You just have to pick the best of experiences – that’s the secret of holiday in India. So, what can you explore on your India trip?
North India:
Though, North India has a huge historical significance, the core of a North India vacation package is nature and adventure. Go on a trip in Leh Ladakh, go white river rafting in Rishikesh, catch a glimpse of the elusive tiger in Corbett National Park and enjoy paragliding and sky diving in Bir. Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are at the heart of any holiday in this region. You must check out New Delhi or Agra, but the Himalayas and the many valleys create great meadows in Kashmir, dense forests in Himachal and Uattrakhand. The birds, butterflies, plants, tigers and other animals can be a wonderful part of a North India vacation package, if you plan it well.
Western and South India:
The ...
... core of Western India is history while Southern India is driven by its holy temples and water sports. Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra – the states in Western India holidays have a bloody past and a rough terrain. The history thrives in these states in the form of palaces, caves, forts and historic landmarks. Be it a temple or havelli – the footprint of ancient dynasties makes it a powerful travel destination. Yet, the western region has a surprise travel package as well; Goa! This destination is a perfect beach holiday destination in India for sheer leisure and relaxation.
Southern India, on the other hand, is known for its pristine coastline and divine temples. Millions and millions of pilgrims visit temples in South India around the year. Be it Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh, the rituals and customs of these holy temples have boosted the magnetic appeal of these naturally blessed states. Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andaman Islands are also known for their scuba diving sites, surfing beaches and fun activities that flourish on clean and stunning beaches.
North East India:
There are seven remote states in this part of India. These seven sisters are really popular for unconventional holidays. The tea plantations, a view of the Himalayas as well as tribal home stay with unique local food makes it an out-of-the-world experience. These North Indian holidays have the warmth of local people mixed with exclusive experiences.
