Apple always had the knack of releasing a new installment in the series of smart phones that they make available to the public and they never failed to provide the public with something new. They are yet again set to release the iPhone 6 this year, and many anticipate that it will be on September which is when they commonly release another model.

Reports have come to the media that Apple was set to release three models of their iPhone 6 in different sizes. The sizes of the three iPhone 6 models that are set to be released are 4.7, 4.8, and 5.5 inches.

Unfortunately, reports came in that the largest of the three may not see the light of the market until 2015, although, they can be labeled as rumors as of the moment.

As the rumors suggests, the delay in the release of the largest of the three iPhone 6 models is caused by the challenges that its design poses for the production of the iPhone battery that Apple is planning to install into the sixth installment of the revolutionary smart phone. Apple is asking a battery that has a thickness measure of 2 mm or less, but, standard design of a smart phone battery is 2.8 to 2.9 mm which makes it a big problem because now, the manufacturers need to reduce the size by .8 to .9 mm, which may not be much, but is already huge in the electronic world.

Apple is strict with their demands and they are asking that they should make it possible.

That is why the release date of largest iPhone 6 has been pushed back to at least next year. Manufacturers are still trying their hardest to find a way to make the demands of Apple possible. It will take a lot of tweaking and the size of the iPhone battery that they are demanding remains the largest roadblock for the model to be released on the same day that the other two are made available to the public.

However, again, these reports remain as rumors as of the moment, but if you look at it, it might have some credibility to it and the reason is logical.

In another part of the story that does not involve the problem regarding the size of the iPhone battery that Apple is planning on installing, the media are currently labeling the largest iPhone 6 as iPhone Air. This only came about because the “5.5 inch iPhone 6” just does not roll well with the tongue. The media did however claim that it is just a nickname coined in order to make it easier for the public to pronounce, but they are not expecting the nickname to stick.

So, the battery issue seems to be a big problem right now, and it should be. This will be the first time Apple will be using a new battery for its smart phone, and it is only right for them to get it perfect.
