Experts are saying that companies who are seeking to create a resourceful search engine optimization (SEO) campaign must ensure that they are constantly updating their site with original, genuine and quality content.

USA Today columnist Steve Strauss said recently that many smaller firms are aware of SEO and various social networking tools, i.e. Twitter.

However, he put forth that one of the simpler steps smaller companies could take (while also increasing their online visibility) would be to constantly post inventive content, whether it be blogs, newsletters or articles.

Mr. Strauss says that SEO is one of the most effective tools small businesses can use to level the playing field when competing with the larger, well-known firms.

He had a recent conversation with John Jantsch, creator of Duct Tape Marketing, who asserted that the most integral means of boosting online traffic while improving SEO was simply by adding new content.

Mr. Jantsch states that: Firms need to commit to getting new, updated content, and posting it online.
