You must have heard that stress can lead to weight loss or weight gain depending on your body type. Well, this is true to some extent stress can causeweight fluctuation to some extent. The stress hormone called the cortisol, Is the factor that is responsible for weight gain and weight loss. The stress factors could be anything, it can be the reason at work or even family responsibilities or any other stress full situation our body’s our body’sdefence mechanism strategies this and reacts like our body is under attack and need to run for our lives. This results in a burst of metabolism and blood flow. If you remain in this state of mind for a long time this can cause chronicstress, and your health becomes at risk.
Metabolism is the factor that is responsible for weight gain and weight loss, even if you eat the same amount of food every day you may find that you are losing weight of the opposite to much cortisol can slow down yourmetabolism to a great extent.
