If you find that you have a thing for writing but don't see yourself being an author, maybe you should consider becoming a technical writer. Why?

For one, the demand for writers in every industry increases each year putting this career in the hot seat of the market. In simple terms this means that you would always be able to find a job in this industry. ... Also, if you choose to become a freelancer, you get to pick your jobs and work with the industries of your choice. You would be your own boss and be given the opportunity to hold another job as well in tough times.
