Buick was practically a flagship for General Motors for a period of several years. Today, Buick is doing better than ever and has completely reinvented itself. It shows the company that they are definitely headed in the right direction and that if they continue on this path, they have the potential to be one of the best-selling lines of automobiles ever produced.

Buick’s newfound success can be attributed to many factors. Perhaps the most important is the redesign of trusted models that have been in the Buick lineup for years, in combination with the introduction of new sedans and a number of crossover vehicles that appeal to a large part of the general public. Buick has done a lot over the last several years to reinvent its image. It is still known as one of the best luxury car lines ever produced, but it is now marketing that luxury to a younger generation of individuals, a generation that has the purchasing power that the company needs if it is to remain an effective force in automobile sales. They are even venturing into the hybrid automobile market, and have created a hybrid that costs virtually the same as the more conventional, gas powered model.
