There are several ways which can help you sell your house quickly even in the slow market. Here follows some effective tools on how to sell your house quickly in a slow market.
Do not lower the price
It may sound paradoxical, but is true. The option that quickly comes to the mind is to lower the price. But I would say you should not do this. In a slow market, most of the sellers are driven by the psychological fears. You may also suffer from fear that the more you wait the more you will lose. Most of the sellers do it. But setting a price lower than the actual value will only give a negative idea about your house. The buyers may begin to consider your house as one those ’problem houses’.

... But when you have to set a price, you should be practical. You should set a price that is neither higher nor lower than the actual price of your house. If you cannon decide about it, evaluate the true value of the home in the surrounding area.
Keep in mind that as you are haunting the right buyers, the buyers are also searching for the right house. So, make your house attractive and inviting to the buyers. Be sure that the inside of your house is clean and uncluttered. Make sure that even the closets and storerooms are clean and fresh. Remove most of the personal belongings and just keep the basics. Try to emphasize the brightness and open feel to every room. You may want people looking at the house and the rooms not your personal photos books and decorating styles. So, doing this you can make your house more attractive and inviting.
Give Concessions
You may become confused as I am telling you not to lower the price, but at the same time asking to give concessions. Ok, there are other ways, which are more effective than directly lowering the prices. Suppose, offer concessions like bearing the cost of the repairs, giving home warranties that will cover the cost of home repairs during a certain period of time after the home is bought. Such concessions will surely attract the potential buyers.
Hire an agent
Sometimes hiring an agent gives quick results. Look for an agent, who has experience in selling houses in your area. If you find a good real estate professional, he can help you set the right price and also sell your house quickly.
Thus, if you want to sell your house in a slow market, you should have patience. You can try the above techniques to sell your house quickly.
