How To Make Lip-smacking Chicken Masala Curry?

Although Chicken Masala Curry is made with subtle variations all over India to suit taste and eating habits yet following recipe can guarantee that yours will be liked by all equally. Here is the list of ingredients you will need while cooking famous Chicken Masala Curry. Half Kg of Chicken cut in medium sized pieces, 3 tablespoons of fresh Curd, 1 teaspoon of Red Chili powder, one-forth teaspoon of Turmeric powder and salt according to taste. If you wish to keep Curry less tangy, use Kashmiri Red Chili Powder. Also take two-third cup of milk, 8 Cashew nuts, 1 inch Cinnamon, 10-12 Curry leaves, 3 Cloves, 4 tablespoon of any vegetable oil, finely chopped 2 big Onions, 1 finely chopped large Tomato, half teaspoon of grated Ginger, 5 Garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder, three-forth teaspoon of Black Pepper, one-forth teaspoon of Cumin powder and few leaves of fresh Coriander. Firstly, crush Garlic and Ginger together to form a paste. Wash Chicken thoroughly and marinate the pieces with Curd, Chili powder, Turmeric powder and salt, leave it for 20 minutes. Dry roast Cinnamon, Curry leaves and Cloves, once roasted let them cool down and grind to form a powder. Heat Frying pan, add 1 and half tablespoon of oil and Onions to it, sauté till onions are pink, add Ginger-Garlic and paste and sauté for another 4-5 minutes on a low flame. Later add Cumin seeds, Coriander powder and black pepper powder. Add Tomatoes and let it cook for few minutes, turn off the flame later and cover the mixture. Take another utensil add 1 and half tablespoon of oil and heat it, add marinated Chicken and cook for 5 minutes, later add Masala paste, cashew-milk paste and powder of Cinnamon, Curry leaves and Cloves. Let the mixture sit on a medium flame, stir after every 30 seconds and cook till Chicken gets soft and cooked. Put off the flame, garnish it with fresh Coriander and serve with Rice or Roti. You can add 1 to 1 and half cup of hot water to the dish for more consistent gravy. If you have Majithia Chicken Curry Masala Powder then you can cook it in much less time by simply adding

marinated Chicken to sautéed mixture of Tomatoes, Garlic, Onion and Ginger after adding Majithia Chicken Curry Masala Powder.
