A lot of public schools that are functioning are very hostile to Muslims. If you think of it then this should not be the case. The public schools like several other governmental institutions are not allowed by law to discriminate on the basis of religion and to believe and support just any one thought of religion. This means that those students who study in public schools do not have much of religious beliefs. This happens because they are not taught in such a way.

When thinking about the religious rights in public schools which involve getting a space where one can pray. If the school is supportive to get the rooms available for the student groups, then to meet during lunch hours one must make the room available to at least the Muslim students who would really want to pray at that time.

If the school is not very accommodating about allowing other student groups to use those rooms, then it certainly is not required for the students to pray in separate rooms. The school boards should allow the children to pray during certain intervals. If this is something which affects you or even your child for that matter, ...
... then you must immediately contact the local school authorities and make them understand the situation. They must also be allowed to give Islamic charity.

If the Muslim students want to go and pray in the mosque during Fridays, then the school authorities must not discriminate them because if this and must allow them to pray and follow their religion as it is. The students must also be given some amount of extra time to make up for their studies that they might have missed because of the prayers or any pending assignments.

Even in other religious holidays the students must be allowed to take leave so that they can celebrate the festivals with equal fervor and love like the other children do during their own festivals. Those students must also be excused from any kind of strenuous physical activity as it may cause problems to them and it will make them further weak. You can also admit them in a Muslim school where they won’t have to face any such problems.

The Muslim students must also not be allowed to get involved in any such activities which will be the cause of concern when it comes to their religion. They do not like bowing down to any other but to Allah and during martial arts or any other prayer meetings they do not like it and they must be given the right or the freedom to avoid it.
