If anyone would be honest, owners of the latest electronic devices may only own these devices because of the applications which are applicable. That is why it is also important to inform these same owners how much these same applications affect the iPhone battery life.

This immediate drain in the battery’s life is due to the frequency, in which the applications are being used by the device. Unfortunately, no owner is always in control of how frequent the device is using the application because there are instances in which the application updates itself. The concept may have started when Facebook installed a call feature in its messenger, which most of you probably did not notice or did, but never made a big deal out of it. Yes, it started from there. The people from the company may have not thought about it when they installed the feature, but someone later did and this is one of their biggest goals in the future.

According to some reports, Facebook plans to help notify the user about incoming calls and text messages at a rate faster compared to other network providers which are currently being used by the public. In fact, there are even plans that they are trying to override them as a provider, and make their platform a better option.

The next step towards that same direction came when they acquired WhatsApp. It is a communication platform which Facebook is looking to incorporate into its system for the main purpose of becoming a potential telecommunications company as well.

It seems like Facebook is exploring all options that they can exhaust while making sure that they do not pry away from its niche of being a SOCIAL media platform. Being a communication provider is certain not one of them.

The constant updates that your phone constantly receives is just a test drive from Facebook; a test drive that costs you so much iPhone battery that you might think of turning it off or at least refreshing the applications which are running at the background.
