Self-service password reset solutions allows end-users to reset their active directory password based on simple, predefined questions. The password can easily be reset from the Windows Login screen.

The latest technology allows organizations to safely manage password resets and reduce calls to the Help Desk using the following process:

Registering
Users must register their account with the Passworks® server, picking 3 questions from a predefined list. After selecting the questions users will receive a confirmation email which allows them to reset their password from the Windows login screen.

Resetting Your Password
The Reset Password button on the Windows login screen launches the Passworks® Reset Wizard. Users can answer their personalized questions to reset your password and login to Windows.

Advanced Security
All user responses are stored in the database using secure, one-way, MD5 encryption, meaning that no-one can find out what answers a user may have entered.
