Why The Constellation Orion Favourite Among Stargazing Tours Explorers
Fond of night sky? Want to explore the outer space? Take a star gazing tour. Sedona AZ is an amazing destination for a stargazing tour. It provides you with a clear and pollution free sky to look at. If you are an amateur stargazer or going on a star gazing tour for the first time you will enjoy watching the Constellation Orion. Orion is one of the most famous constellations from the 88 constellations visible in the night sky. Orion can be easily found by any individual whether she is a first timer, amateur or a professional from whatever part of the world she is looking for.
Orion unlike most of the constellation lives up to its legendary namesake, it looks like a strong and powerful hunter carrying a shield, a raised arm, and a sword hanging from his star-studded jewelled belt. Northern explorers can find Orion located moderately high in the south-eastern sky at round about 9 p.m. and the southern explorers can get a striking sight of Orion “upside down” high over the head in the beautiful and clear summer night sky.
Whoever it is viewing the constellation Orion always becomes awestruck and captive of the ...
... splendid beauty of this constellation on a cold winter night. No matter how many times an individual views this wonderful constellation its beauty never dulls down. If you are looking at the Orion in a clear night sky it sparkles like a huge piece of celestial jewellery. It holds the most number of brightest stars in the whole night sky. Most of the stars in this constellation are formed in the great Orion star manufacturing unit. It has great invisible mass of gases and dust which are still condensing and forming new stars.
The bright red-orange star Betelguese marks the shoulder of the Orion. Betelguese is a huge star which have burned most of its fuel and can explode as a supernova that will shine very brightly. It will be capable enough to cast shadows by night and will be visible in daytime for various weeks. This explosion can take place at any time, may be after a week, a year or a whole millennia. Nobody is sure about it.
The bright blue-white stars marking feet of Orion of which the brighter one is Rigel. Rigel is younger than the Betelguese and also slightly brighter then it. In the whole night sky only five stars are capable of outshining the Rigel. If looked over by a telescope intensel an individual can find a faint star by the side of Rigel, it is known as Rigel B.
The Orion’s belt is marked by three stars evenly lined up in a row. Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka are the three stars. If looked closely at the group of three dim stars appear to hang off the belt, of which the middle star appears hazy and unclear. The middle star is entangled in a mass of glowing gas and dust which is known as the Orion Nebula. In this Orion Nebula brand new stars are in the process of formation.
StarGazing Tours in Arizona is very enticing and can make your Arizona tour memorable one for long time.
