No party is complete without some great appetizers. Halloween party food should be anything but boring! All it takes is a little imagination to make great appetizers for a rocking party. These snacks include corn puffs, goldfish crackers, cheese bread crumbs, baby sausage quiches, asparagus rolls, pumpkin pancakes and breads, chocolate lanterns, black cats Guacamole spread, cheesy pita crisp and many others. Need a few ideas? Here are some easy ways to make your Halloween appetizers look just a little spookier yet delicious.
1) How to make a Chocolate Jack-o-Lantern? You need to cut the top of an orange and clean it well with a spoon and then draw your funny faces in it. You can fill the orange with your favourite ice cream and then freeze it. Once frozen it will be ready to serve.
2) Pumpkin Bread: For pumpkin bread you need 2 cups of mashed pumpkins, baking flour, sugar, salt, cloves, eggs and baking soda. Mix all these ingredients well in a mixing bowl and pour them out into two bread pans. Bake for an hour at a temperature of 350 degrees Celsius in an oven. And your pumpkin bread is ready to eat.
3) Creepy ...
... Cupcakes: Cupcakes are the most popular food at parties. Add some food coloring to your cupcake batter and decorate them with frosting and sprinkles to make them look like bugs, zombies, or eyeballs.
4) Bloody Breadstick Bones: Create breadsticks bones from a bread-dough and sprinkle each bone with salt, garlic powder and finely grated parmesan cheese. Bake them and serve with tomato-based "bloody" dipping sauce.
Some of the famous Halloween appetizers are described above and as shown, the preparation of these dishes is not a messy affair. They don’t require much time for preparation and you need not be a professional cook to make these starters. You just need simple cookery skills and you are in. You can invite your guests over any time. These simple dishes will be ready in a short time and therefore will allow you more to entertain your guests. You just need to ensure that the kind of starter you choose agrees with the main course and you are set for a fantastic party ahead!
