But make it a point to dry it before turning the other side of the cupboard for cleaning the primer. Once the primer has been dried, apply a little amount of sand to remove brush strokes. Wipe the cupboards with a piece of cloth in order to removing the dirt left behind by sanding. Make sure that the roller or brush you are using for painting on cupboards is of high quality. Don't go for the ones which come cheap as they leave brush marks and bristles behind on the applied area. Initially, put a thin coat and let the cupboard dry for some time. This will ensure that no drip marks are left behind. After the area has been dried, you can turn it over in order in order to paint the other side. But since drying takes take, you will have to wait for a couple of hours. If you want your hand painted kitchen a brand new look, then you will have to replace the knobs and pulls of your cabinet. Once painting has been done, you can set aside the cabinets in an open area for drying purpose.
