Fancy A Part Time Work?
Hundreds of thousands of previously full time personnel who have been fired have sought after part-time jobs to pay the bills. Actually, according the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are almost two million additional part time personnel in the United States at the present than there were a year in the past. A lot of these individuals have been obligated to swap the security of a hefty benefits package for a spatula and a hair net. However, if you know everywhere to check, you may not have to swap those benefits.
If you are going to go to work part time, it is better to work at places that consider part-time workers as integral to their success. For example, at Starbucks part-time workers are the core of their business, and because of that they will be taken care of. says Bob Nelson, leader of Nelson Motivation, a benefits consulting organization.
Retailers tend to offer reasonable benefits packages. Some offer medicinal benefits, a 401(k) matching, profit-allocation and paid time off even to part time personnel. These grocery stores are also somewhat recession proof so many are employing and in some instances ...
