If you're in the food service business, it's inevitable that you'll need some catering equipment in the future. If you don't have one yet, you're going to need to start thinking about getting some as soon as possible. In most areas in the globe, there are companies that offer various food service equipment for lease. The question is, should you buy the equipment yourself or should you lease them instead?

Finally, emergency situations call for renting of equipment. If you have a catering business, for instance, and there's an unexpected surge of demand for your service, it calls for equipment rental for accommodation of those orders. It's also a good idea to rent spare equipment beforehand just for situations like these.


At any rate, the ultimate goal is purchasing your own equipment in the end. Renting equipment adds to the monthly expenses. By having your own equipment, you essentially eliminate those monthly expenses, which can turned into a rolling capital or seen as an increase in profit.
