AmaWaterways launches two new ships, AmaSeina and AmaSonata. Avalon Waterways cruise offers three new vessels Avalon Poetry II, Avalon Illumination and Avalon Impression.

Cruise lines are introducing new ports of call in their itineraries to make sailing tours more stimulating than before. Azamara Club’s 2014 cruise offers include 45 maiden port calls, such as Vila do Abraao, an island-village in Brazil; Mura, the Sultanate of Brunei; and Geopark Langkawi, one of the 64 recognized Geoparks by UNESCO located in Malaysia. Celebrity has added ports in Malaysia and Japan in its 2014 tours, while Disney will be go to Venice for the first time. Several cruise offers 2014 have included Sochi, host of 2014 Winter Olympics, in their itinerary. Norwegian cruise offers tours to offbeat destinations like Pointe-a-Pitre in Guadeloupe and St. Kitts in the Caribbean. Holland America cruise offers now include tours to Burma, Angola and Labrador.
