India is one the right path of sustainable development. There have been a lot of efforts to adapt a sustainable living pattern across all quarters in India. But the sheer size and population of the country makes it difficult to take on the full-fledged sustainability module. The magnitude of the population requires that there should be ample sustainable options for the current generation. This will ensure that sustainable development in India will become a reality soon.

• To achieve financial prosperity and social sustainability
• Creating equal employment opportunities in the rural and urban sector of India
• Raising funds for various community service projects
• Promote social causes like literacy, healthcare, infrastructure, sanitation, equality etc
• Introducing diversity programs that involve people from different strata of the society in the sustainable development of India

For the sustainability development program to achieve overall success it is important to involve every element in the society towards the same. These diversity initiatives ensure that there are equal opportunities available for everyone, irrespective of the gender, abilities, caste and background. For this to happen, everyone needs to be exposed to the same quality of education, infrastructure, healthcare, job opportunities etc.

• High quality educational initiatives to be run in the rural areas so that the population there gets the same kind of exposure that people in the urban areas get. This will create better job opportunities and a stable social standing across the nation.
• Offer equal infrastructure, health care facilities, sanitation, and education so that the rural population becomes self-dependent

If these diversity initiatives are promoted with the right mindset and given the right kind of exposure, it will be easier to develop a sustainable pattern of living in the country. It is by far a much superior way of creating a sustainable society.
