What Causes The High Rate Of Weight Loss Failures?

There are just so many people who have already tried to lose weight but fail. Why is there a higher rate of weight loss failure than success? What constitutes weight loss failure? How can one be successful in his weight loss venture?
Weight loss success seems to be very elusive and hard to achieve. Why do most people fail? Here are the common reasons for weight loss failures:
If you are not strongly motivated, you will not be very determined to lose weight. Let's admit it; weight loss is such a hard task. Imagine controlling your food and drink intake and exercising everyday. Isn't it a lot of hard work? But if you are motivated, your eyes are set on your goal and you tend to be blind on the hard work part. Because people don't really realise the dangers of being overweight, they don't tend to be strongly motivated to lose weight. Losing weight is not only for beauty reasons; it is for your health as well.
Weight loss is a change of lifestyle and not just a short term goal. If you lose weight for a year and get back to your old lifestyle after that, you will get back to your old overweight self again. ...
... If you want weight loss to be permanent, you should change your lifestyle. You have already spent months doing the weight loss hard work, why would you still let all the weight come back?
Some people are trying to lose weight the wrong way. There are just so many weight loss promises that you can get and you will end up being confused as to which one to try. Some weight loss promises are not effective at all. For instance, skipping meals is never a good way to lose weight. If you are serious about losing weight, you should learn more about weight loss. This is to ensure that you are doing the right weight loss technique.
People don't know what they put inside their bodies. If you are not conscious of what you eat and what you drink, you will not be able to control your weight. You should learn how to read labels. Know how much calories your body needs and keep your food intake within that level.
If you don't really understand weight loss and its effect on your body, you will not be strongly motivated to achieve it. Don't be like those people who lose weight, gain it back, lose it again and so on. Permanent weight loss can only be achieved by a change in lifestyle and strong weight loss motivation.
