It would also be a good idea to consult your workers first before implementing cost cutting measures in order to avoid confusion or, better yet, come up with an alternative solution.

After all, don't forget to assert the effectiveness of your budget management. Determine whether the plan has indeed resulted in better business performance or not. It would be a good idea to keep an extensive record of the plan's implementation in order to accurately keep track of its progress. Don't get too eager here though. You only need to change your plan if there are significant effects visible.
