To learn how to give a massage, the first step is prepare you to be professional. We need to enjoy this activity, make balance of our body, mind and positive energy to transfer the person.
The next steps how to give massage properly, you need to learn basic Anatomy. Human beings are arguably the most complex organisms on this planet. The human body is a single structure but it is made up of billions of smaller structures.
The major part is cells, tissues, organs, and systems which is skeletal system, muscular system, digestive system, respiratory system, cardiovascular, nervous system, lymphatic system, reproductive and urinary. With basic anatomy we will understand ourselves, how our body works, functions and structure in the body and which factors determine health.

... but we need to know the point pressure, and some movements. Techniques which utilize deep tissue/deep muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia.
Techniques such as hands-on pressure and stretching are used to balance (Chi) universal life force energy. Usually techniques include pin and stretch, myofascial release, deep specific stripping, cross-fiber friction, and trigger point work. If adopted as a daily practice, Ayurvedic massage techniques can even help to rejuvenate the body. These traditional Indian massage techniques are based on the Ayurvedic doshas and marmas (pressure points like in reflexology).
The other thing that important in how to massage is room environment. Room temperature, lighting, music, smells, time, and pressure should be comfortable for the people who get the massage. Ask them if they have specific preference such as if they like cold room temperature, music should be adjusted, is any part of body they did not like to be massage such as stomach, or any specific aromatherapy to be prepared.
To give massage we need to avoid rushing. Our focus is to give the positive energy so we should be relax and thing that we want to heal the person. Some person may have contra indications. As the question upon the treatments if they have contra indications make sure they have been consult their personal practitioner that they can have the massage.
