Breast Feeding Vs. Bottle Feeding
Many mothers spend initial months prior to the birth of a new born in a dilemma. The debate of breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding refuses to die and so does the worries of a new mother. But experts now believe that one shouldn’t take an extreme side, a mixed feeding is probably a great idea for the new born baby who’ll be able to take complete nourishment. The idea is to combine both the breastfeeds and formula milk. If for any reason you’re able to breastfeed at all, there is no need to panic or feel any kind of guilt. In this write-up we’ve explained both these options.
Have you ever wondered how you can bottle-feed your baby? The first consideration is the kind of bottle you select, and one should go for only the best baby bottles for newborns. Once you’ve chosen the bottle, one should prepare the milk formula as per the given instructions and then store the bottles for later use. But the same shouldn’t be used more than 24 hours time period. The danger in using left-over food milk is immense as your little one at this point may not have a sound immune system.
Is ...
... formula milk effective? Should a mother be worried about the ingredients? There is no reason that a parent should be extra-worried about the formula milk. The ingredients of formula milk are chosen after much research. The essential vitamins and minerals which new born needs are included in the formula milk. Formula milk is mostly made from a cow’s milk, but is then made easily digestible. It is a constant endeavour by the scientists and researchers to make it as close and as effective as breast milk.
For a baby who might be lactose intolerance or might suffer from an allergy to cow’s milk which runs in the family, soya-based milk is today available for the new born. But these changes should be made only after sound advice by a specialist who can recommend the best brands for the same. Available in powdered form, formula milk is easily made in cooled but boiled water. One should carefully read instructions before going ahead. For those who don’t to get into the hassle of preparation, ready-prepared formula milk is available in bottles and cartons. Though these might be a little costly than the powdered ones, these can be used in case of emergencies or travel urgencies.
Breast-fed or bottle-fed, there is no reason why your baby won’t get the complete nourishment he/she deserves. And a judicious mixture of both these options is best suitable for both the baby and the mother.
